Greed

 Who needs the life
In search of possessions
That gets left to one side
We leave with hands open
Empty shell gets left behind
Judged by possessions
And the life wasted
In the endless quest for more
Only death we have in common
But some just want more, more, more.

It is a sad reality that many people in our society are consumed by the endless pursuit of possessions and material wealth. We often judge ourselves and others based on the things we own, rather than the person we are or the impact we have on the world around us. This is a dangerous path to follow, as it can lead to a hollow and unfulfilling existence.

In the end, we all leave this world with empty hands, and the only things that truly matter are the relationships we have built and the experiences we have shared. The pursuit of material possessions only serves to distract us from what is truly important, and can ultimately leave us feeling unfulfilled and unsatisfied.

Instead of focusing on accumulating more and more things, we should strive to cultivate meaningful relationships with the people around us, and seek out experiences that enrich our lives and the lives of those around us. By doing so, we can create a legacy that will far outlast any material possessions we may accumulate over the course of our lives.
